FAQs
What can a coach do for me?
A coach is someone who accompanies you on your journey in your career. A coach can help you through a tough time or be a long-term support tactic as you learn and grow in your career.
You will notice accelerated learning and growth in your career and relationships. Some clients say it positively impacts their outside-of-work life, too.

Isn’t it expensive to get a coach?
Pricing depends on the coach and the role, expectations, and goals that the client has. For most individual contact clients, the rates will be $100-$300 per 1 hour session. This rate includes discussions, exercises, reference materials, artifacts from sessions, & communication with your coach outside of sessions.
Do I need to have a plan before I reach out to a coach?
Nope! A coach can help you figure out your plan. They will help you figure out where you’d like to get to and then help you determine action items to get you there!
Once the plan is created your coach will help you execute by checking in with you on progress toward your commitments.
It is still a week out from my next session, but I have questions! What can I do?
When we set up the coaching relationship expectations, we’ll both set boundaries to allow communication between sessions. The Rubber Duck is here to assist you!
When is it right to end a coaching engagement?
Generally, the coaching relationship is outlined for a set amount of sessions depending on what you want to achieve and progress toward that goal. We’ll talk that through during setup and will check in regularly and adjust that as needed.
